They need to adapt, be changeable, function sustainably – and look good at the same time. This is precisely why we are introducing FLEXFY today: a current-carrying, magnetic wall system that opens up new possibilities in interior design. For anyone looking for flexible yet aesthetically sophisticated solutions.

Overview of FLEXFY

FLEXFY is an innovative company that is fundamentally changing the way electricity is distributed and used in rooms. With a wall and ceiling construction that is both current-carrying and magnetic, FLEXFY enables flexible room concepts without visible cables or complex installations. The aim is to make rooms as versatile as the people who use them – whether in the office, in the home or in public spaces.

Technology from FLEXFY

FLEXFY technology is based on a multi-layer structure that can be retrofitted to almost any wall or ceiling. The basis is a conductive fleece which, in combination with a magnetic spatula, provides power and support for a wide range of applications. A central power supply unit safely supplies the surface with 48V direct current, allowing lights, screens, chargers or decorative objects to be mounted and operated directly on the surface – without any drilling, screws or wiring. The highlight: current only flows where an active device is connected. The current-carrying surfaces can be integrated into almost any wall structure and are suitable for both new buildings and existing conversions. Interior designers benefit from a new freedom in interior design – because where there used to be cable ducts or permanently installed connections, there is now a clear, minimalist design language.

Live experience – FLEXFY in action

Of course, we didn’t just want to get to know FLEXFY on paper – that’s why we tested the system live at the Hotel Competence Center near Munich. The current-carrying wall system not only impresses with its technology, but also with its calm, minimalist design.

You can find a few impressions here in the video and in the pictures from our visit – it’s super exciting how seamlessly the system can be integrated into existing room concepts.

FLEXFY was also present at our Music Loves Design event: we had a small stand on site where our guests could look at and try out the system directly – live, magnetically and without any cable clutter.

In addition to the underlying infrastructure, FLEXFY also develops suitable accessories and offers its own range of products that harmonize perfectly with the technology. These include high-quality lights, USB-C sockets, magnetic shelf brackets, power plugs and other accessories for flexible room design. All products are specially designed to be easily positioned, safely operated and rearranged at any time. This means that FLEXFY not only offers a technical solution, but also a holistic design system for modern interiors. Of course, FLEXFY can also respond to specific requests and develop customized solutions. The product range is still in its infancy – FLEXFY will gradually expand its network over the coming months and years.
