Some appointments are quickly forgotten. Others have a lasting impact.
Our two intensive days with MillerKnoll and Bertie van Wyk, Senior Insight Specialist from London, clearly fall into the second category.
Together, we visited selected architecture firms in Munich—not with a sales presentation, but with open discussions, genuine questions, and a shared interest in the future of work.
Bertie van Wyk – A thought leader with attitude
Bertie is part of the Global Research Team at MillerKnoll and has been working for years on the intersections of workplace design, wellbeing, and cultural change.
He observes, connects, translates—and turns research into real relevance for planners and decision-makers.
It was a great pleasure to have him at our side as a discussion partner, source of perspective, and colleague.
Design With Impact & Relationship-Based Work
Bertie gave two presentations that were above all one thing: food for thought rather than theory.
🌀 Design With Impact
How can design actively contribute to change?
How can spaces support the social, cognitive, and physical health of employees?
And what does that mean for the office planning of tomorrow?
🤝 Relationship-Based Work
In times of hybrid work, relationships are becoming more important.
How do we design spaces that promote connection, belonging, and exchange—beyond the classic logic of space?
What followed was genuine dialogue: with planners who design, question, and develop every day.
The feedback? Open, direct, curious. Just the way we like it
We are MillerKnoll specialist retail partners – and more than that
Our partnership with MillerKnoll means much more to us than just products.
We see ourselves as mediators between idea and implementation, as a link between architects, manufacturers, and what spaces should really achieve.
These two days demonstrated this wonderfully:
We were able to present ourselves together with MillerKnoll – not as a brand, but as a team.
The finale at the HAY showroom – an encounter in lightness
The last item on the agenda took us to HAY, also part of the MillerKnoll family.
Another highlight took place in their Munich showroom: an intensive exchange with around 15 architects, embedded in an atmosphere that is so typical of HAY – open, modern, uncomplicated.
It was not only the perfect conclusion to our tour, but also a glimpse into the future:
How great the desire for real conversation is.
How much energy there is in good exchange.
And how important it is to create exactly these spaces for it – physically and mentally.

Thanks to Bertie, thanks to MillerKnoll & HAY – and thanks to all the architecture firms that accompanied us these two days.
We leave with many ideas, wonderful encounters, and genuine anticipation for everything that will come out of this week.
Best regards,
