Wiesn Review – Two Days with our Network

Just before Oktoberfest comes to an end, we already want to say thank you!

This year, we spent two days there and shared the time with people from our network. With clients, architects, friends and long-standing partners such as König + Neurath, MillerKnoll and Johanson.

First of all, thank you to everyone who invited us and just as much to everyone who joined us at our table.

Over the years, we have found our own way of experiencing Oktoberfest. A relaxed afternoon at Fischer-Vroni and a second date for those who want to celebrate a little longer.

We understand that not everyone feels like standing on a beer bench and singing about a lamp from the seventies. For others, that is exactly the moment to simply be in the moment.

For us, Oktoberfest is more than just the beer tent anyway. We spend time there with people we would normally meet in a completely different setting.

And because we deal with spaces every day and with the question of what exactly these spaces do to people, a beer tent is actually quite a useful example.

“Space creates reality,” as Dina always says.

People do not remain quite the same when the setting changes.

And when you meet outside the usual environment, you often realise how much of a person gets too little space in everyday life.

Maybe that is what we mean by The Power of Network.

A real network grows over time and from knowing who you are dealing with.

We have been working with many of the people who joined us this year for a long time. Others we have only just met. That is how our community continues to grow.

And there was one real highlight as well.

We were able to receive a special award. In the beer tent, by the way, and it had nothing to do with shooting or throwing balls. 😉

We will tell you more about that in the next blog.

Thank you to everyone who was there.

It was a pleasure.

See you next year, when it is time to say once again:

O’zapft is.
