20 Golden Tickets. 20 creative scripts.

Together with Johanson Design, we have invited 20 selected partners from our architecture and design network to be a part of a special project for COLOUR YOUR SHIMA.

The invitation came in the form of a Golden Ticket, inspired by the iconic golden ticket from Willy Wonka, for a project unlike anything we had done before.

The idea?

Design your own SHIMA Garden and become part of Johanson’s design concept for ORGATEC 2026 with your creation.

The colour palette was created by Swedish designer Tekla Evelina Severin, known as Teklan, who is also behind Johanson’s exhibition concept for ORGATEC.

From the Golden Invitation to Your Own SHIMA

For two days in July, the terrace of LIVE EVIL at Rosenheimer Platz was transformed into a small creative space. During a traditional Swedish fika with coffee and cinnamon buns, Johanson SHIMA pots, brushes and a curated colour palette were waiting for their designers.

The colours are part of the concept for Johanson’s exhibition at ORGATEC.

Then it was time to get creative.

Graphic, minimal or intuitive – apart from the colour palette, there were no fixed rules. Each SHIMA was designed to carry the personal signature of its creator.

The result: 20 identical SHIMAs turned into 20 completely unique pieces.

Next Stop: ORGATEC 2026

COLOUR YOUR SHIMA is far from over with the final brushstroke.

Next, the finished pieces will travel to Cologne. At ORGATEC 2026, the SHIMAs will become part of the colour and design concept developed by Teklan for the Johanson Design stand.

20 individual ideas will come together in one installation.

At the same time, the story behind each piece remains visible: every SHIMA has been signed and can be traced back to its respective studio or office.

Design for a Good Cause

After ORGATEC, the next chapter begins.

The customised SHIMAs will be auctioned as part of a charity initiative, with all proceeds going to a non-profit organisation in Munich.

A big thank you to everyone who redeemed their Golden Ticket, picked up a brush and gave COLOUR YOUR SHIMA their own personal signature.

Next Stop: ORGATEC 2026.

There, the individual SHIMAs will come together as one collection, and we can’t wait to see them all as part of the final concept.
