The Hauser Academy is more than just an internal event for us. It\u2019s the moment we take time \u2013 for exchange, inspiration, and genuine connection. At our latest Academy Day, all of that was tangible once again. This time, right here at our office \u2013 with strong partners, exciting new products, and a refreshing shift in perspective out in nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting at the Office \u2013 A Space for Ideas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We kicked off the day in our showroom: relaxed, curious, and eager for design and dialogue. Our partners Thonet, Leolux, and Lindner joined us to present their latest highlights \u2013 showing how furniture and space can be reimagined not only visually but also functionally and emotionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thonet x Jil Sander \u2013 The S 64 Reimagined<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A real highlight was the presentation of two special versions of the iconic S 64 chair, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. Nearly 100 years later, Jil Sander has brought her personal interpretation to the design \u2013 minimalist, refined, and full of character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her reinterpretation comes in two editions:
SERIOUS<\/strong> features a glossy titanium frame, high-gloss lacquered beech elements, and leather seating surfaces in Graphite Black, Graphite Ruby Red, Graphite Green, or Graphite Blue. Alternatively, there\u2019s a version with dark-stained woven cane called Dark Melange<\/em>.
NORDIC<\/strong> comes with a matte silver nickel frame, white-pigmented oak, and either natural cane or leather in soft Alabaster White.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each piece carries Jil Sander\u2019s discreet engraved signature \u2013 a subtle but striking detail that emphasizes the exclusivity and craftsmanship of the collection.
What we appreciated most was the respect for the original paired with a bold design vision. The result is a timeless piece that feels thoroughly contemporary. (A dedicated blog post about this collection is coming soon.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leolux SEN \u2013 Lounge Seating, Reimagined<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Leolux\u2019s SEN<\/strong> armchair made just as strong an impression. With its flowing, soft form, it feels like a calming anchor in any room. It invites retreat \u2013 without turning away from its surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed by the acclaimed studio Yabu Pushelberg<\/strong>, SEN is based on two gently curved U-shapes that form a sculptural yet accessible silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SEN is highly customizable \u2013 from swivel or fixed bases to a variety of fabrics and leathers in calm or vibrant tones.
It\u2019s a seat that works in lounges, focus areas or reception spaces \u2013 bringing the kind of effortless ease that modern workplaces need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAS Rooms by Lindner \u2013 Rooms Within the Room<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to flexible workspaces, Lindner\u2019s CAS Rooms<\/strong> are much more than meeting boxes. These modular room-in-room systems stand independently, fit seamlessly into open offices, and offer exactly what\u2019s often missing in everyday work life: focus, quiet, and space to think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What impressed us:
Modularity<\/strong> \u2013 set up or reconfigure the system in just a few hours.
Materials<\/strong> \u2013 over 450 colors and finishes to choose from, including textiles, wood, and glass.
Function<\/strong> \u2013 excellent acoustics, integrated ventilation and lighting, and an overall calming presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether used as phone booths, team pods, quiet zones, or hybrid workspaces \u2013 CAS Rooms create privacy without compromising openness. For us, it\u2019s a concept with a strong future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch That Brings Us Together<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After so many exciting impressions, it was time for a different kind of exchange. We headed to our favorite Italian spot around the corner. And while that may sound simple \u2013 that\u2019s often where the real team spirit emerges: honest conversations, shared laughter, spontaneous ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Perspective at the Wildlife Park<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, we headed out into nature \u2013 to the Wildlife Park in Poing. Between deer, wild boars, and tall trees, the team dynamic shifted. No to-do lists, no presentations \u2013 just shared time outdoors. That space to breathe, talk, or just walk quietly together made the day complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Remains?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
